the more I look at this, the more it reminds me of the 1977 Mercury Marquis Brougham used in the 1989 movie "uncle Buck"

It is indeed a 1972 Chevrolet Impala. I think the gamemakers might have even stolen a few textures from the 1972 Impala named "Archie" at www.stillruns.com
