I think it is more 3000GT than FTO, which would make sense, since the in-game car is left hand drive and FTOs are right hand drive only, due to been never officially sold outside Japan.

Burnout vehicles had a very fictional design with minor elements from real cars, so the left-hand or right-hand doesn't count so much.
