Actually, the Karma first debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, so this being inspired by the Karma isn't impossible. It's just that production didn't begin until 2011.

This reminds me of the Coyote from Split/Second, which is listed as a Fisker Karma here, but this predates the Fisker.
