Star Wars Fanatic 2006-11-08 22:46 | Those of you who are old enough may remember the 1986 arcade game Outrun - recently the game had a sequel which was soon followed by this version. Coast 2 Coast is basically Outrun 2 SP, which is an exact port of the arcade equivalent, packaged with an all new mode called Coast 2 Coast, which boasts a few new gameplay features. The series has always been a Ferrari fans dream, since the only cars literally available for play are Ferraris, with this game containing the most substantial variety. As ever, the handling is extremely arcadey, and has a driving model similar to that of Ridge Racer, especially with its drifting tendencies. Coast 2 Coast is available on many platforms (I own the PSP version), but rather cheekily Sega made it so that you actually need to own the game on each platform, to unlock further exclusive cars |
G-MANN 2006-11-08 23:44 | These pictures seem to vary in quality, some are far more photorealistic than others. -- Last edit: 2006-11-08 23:46:04 |
Explorer4x4 2006-11-08 23:48 | I didn't notice. And they are really good shots. Does it matter that they are slightly different in photo quality? -- Last edit: 2006-11-08 23:48:54 |
Star Wars Fanatic 2006-11-08 23:51 | It could be from the different platforms, the Xbox version is said to be far more sharp than other versions of the game. Personally, I feel that this game is far more suited towards the PSP for on the move entertainment. |
G-MANN 2006-11-08 23:52 | It's just that with games whenever you see preview screenshots or adverts it always looks better than the game actually does once you get it. Looking at TV adverts of the lastest Project Gotham or Gran Turismo, you'd think it's almost like they are real cars, but in reality the actual game looks good but not quite that good. |
CrazyCars 2007-12-31 17:03 | I ahve unlocked every car with this game (by a cheat )There are many strange custom cars like the Enzo and F40 Spider... |
ItsaUserName 2012-03-03 20:13 | Locations: Fictive *facepalm* Why is there a french looking city with the Eiffel Tower in one of the locations? Why is there a town called "Casino Town" that has Las Vegas' landmarks? They are real places just with different names. ![]() |
