| Originally set to be called Gran Turismo 2000, GT3 marked the first outing onto the current generation for the Gran Turismo series, with stunning results. The game boasted vastly superior visuals to that of the previous installments, which truly harnessed the added power of the PS2 at the time, making it an instant showcase title and is often regarded the best of the series so far. Despite the visuals and trademark handling, the game had one glaring flaw - the car list. Due to the early release in the PS2's life, there were only a pitiful 150 or so cars on offer, which is nothing when you consider the majority are Japanese cars and Gran Turismo 2 had nearly 600 cars. Yes, a game having 150 cars would usually be perceived as substantial, but this is after all Gran Turismo. Still, despite its shortcomings in this department, GT3 will always be fondly remembered. |

| Weren't the F1 cars in the UK version, too? Apparently, they're based on real-world F1 cars and the names they were given in the game indicate which car they represent. |

| there are way more than just this many cars. like a Mitsubishi FTO LM race car, a Mazda RX-7 LM race car, 2 other Skyline racecars, The TOM'S Chaser, and several others, Like a few more indy cars. |

| Oh, Iforgot to mention, The Indy cars in the version I have, Where they don't have a shop called Vauxhall, The toyota Yaris Is Called The Toyota VITZ, The Daihatsu Cuore Is called The Daihatsu Mira TR-XX Avanzato R of 1997, And the Daihatsu Sirion is called the Daihatsu Storia X4 of 1998,Well the INDY Cars, there are 6 of them, and they are called F686/M, F697/S, F688/S, F090/S, F094/H, & the best one(& the hardest to get),Which you unlock by 100% simulation mode completion, or by all golds on time trials, the 1 & only F094/S. The 2nd best is the F094/H. |

| Yes but you accepted the 2 Stratos, the Porsche and the Diablo, which also aren't regular cars. I thought this website was meant to include every car in a video game, including hidden ones. Hence the reason the SWAT Van in GTASA is here and the majority of GT2000 cars etc. etc. This McLaren can be put into an unmodified retail Japanese version via save game/Gameshark. |
