Star Wars Fanatic 2007-01-12 23:26 | For those of you wondering, no this is not the game of the famous movie. In fact in comparison, this game isn't particular famous - but for it's time it wasn't a bad game at all, and had a rather unconventional car list. |
Donington 2007-01-14 00:35 | I remember rave reviews at the time |
austinallegro 2007-01-31 20:08 | Quite a nice mix of cars for so few. |
CrazyCars 2007-11-10 09:42 | I loved this game, i'll try to get pictures of the missing cars |
J-2 2008-01-01 20:48 | I also loved this game...it had a Ford Windstar too? -- Last edit: 2008-01-01 23:01:57 |
CrazyCars 2008-01-01 21:47 | There are more cars that i can't find pictures for although i didn't know there was a Windstar on this game. |
Star Wars Fanatic 2008-11-28 16:37 | Does anyone know any cheats or an easy way of unlocking all of the secret cars? |
Star Wars Fanatic 2008-12-18 01:04 | Finally, the page is complete ![]() ![]() This truck also appears in the intro movie: ![]() |
J-2 2008-12-18 08:44 | At least! ![]() Some people say this was a crappy game...well, some parts were bad, yes, but for being an 8 years old game for PSX, it´s good enough for me. |
Star Wars Fanatic 2008-12-18 16:08 | I wouldn't say it's a bad game, but it is very difficult yet challenging. |
Neon 2008-12-18 16:27 | Very nice pictures -- Last edit: 2008-12-18 16:27:16 |
Star Wars Fanatic 2008-12-19 02:06 | Thanks, they took a while to get to say the least! |
takumi 2008-12-19 12:59 | j'ai réussit a trouvé mes eboots je vais pouvoir retaté ces jeux |
sajmon14 2010-09-06 18:00 | nfsII style graphics |
Antti-san 2010-09-12 17:28 | Nice selection of vehicles, though the driving physics are...interesting! ![]() |
gingerbeardman 2010-10-01 23:29 | I love this game, recently gone back to it on my Dreamcast to unlock the final few cars. If we need any better pictures (Dreamcast uses higher resolution than PS) please let me know and I will do my best to grab them. |
thebigbowler 2010-10-17 18:44 | yeah the handling was a tad funny but was a great driving game for the time. |
racingfreak 2011-01-09 18:49 | Awesome game for the PS, too bad didn`t released to PC ![]() |
XThUnDeRX 2011-04-01 22:23 | This is just a guess, but are the photos of from the Playstation version? Because I could get some pics from the Dreamcast one, which looks cleaner and better. ![]() Though, with emulator issues, the wheel textures look glitched ![]() |
RacingFreak 2011-04-02 07:20 | The PS version actually have one of the best ever done cars (even compared to GT !), dunno know about Dreamcast, but better leave SWF`s captures. |
stryder237 2011-05-23 21:43 | I remember playing this as one of my first car games. I loved the waht seemed like a endless amount of cars and the special cars, like the VW bus. I liked all the races and challenge events even though I did not do much of the game it was still fun. |
Antti-san 2011-11-17 02:56 | This is one of those games where the wacky driving physics improve the spectacle - I love it when there's a big crash and the cars fly around like they were weightless! ![]() |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-17 20:33 | I have the Dreamcast version, working fully on the nullDC emulator, but emulation does not come out properly (Weird wheel texture error). Would that be a problem if I made the pictures anyways? I've been wanting to get cleaner shots of each car from the Dreamcast version for a while. ![]() |
RacingFreak 2011-12-17 20:42 | Martin's snaps are just excellent. And seeing you have glitches with the wheels, so better not. |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-17 20:47 | I was just making a suggestion. It's only appearent on cars that have "flat" looking wheels. Others are just fine. Other than the DB7, it's not painfully noticeable when racing. |
RacingFreak 2011-12-17 20:49 | Hmm, post an example picture so we could decide ![]() |
RacingFreak 2011-12-17 20:54 | Can you get higher resolution? Otherwise I see no change in model quality except the interior and better reflections shaders ![]() |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-17 20:56 | Resolution is maximum supported. It may not standout as much like the car I might've shown, but some do look noticeably better compared to their Playstation counterpart. -- Last edit: 2011-12-17 21:29:17 |
RacingFreak 2011-12-18 07:57 | Well, you should make sure you have checked 'Do Not Resize' on 'Image resize:' field at imageshack. Also, can you please remove that white line that appears on all your snaps? |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-18 16:29 | I still have each original image on my computer in it's original size, so I can reupload their original size if you want. Also, that only appears on a couple of them, I have to trim down the photo because I Print Screen. Those are the occasions I don't catch that part of it. |
RacingFreak 2011-12-18 16:58 | Why not use Fraps ? |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-18 19:02 | Because I don't know if Fraps would work for nullDC. |
RacingFreak 2011-12-18 19:26 | such bad excuse... even 3D Ripper DX works for it. And why you just don't try if it will work or no instead doing it with PrtScrn... Fraps is designed to work at all graphic engines, even works on some internet sites. |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-18 19:31 | It really isn't an excuse.. *sigh* I don't enjoy being laughed at for it. And I will since you really are wanting me to try it. |
Antti-san 2011-12-19 22:34 | Nice pics XThUnDeRX, makes me wish I still had my Dreamcast... ![]() |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-19 22:47 | Thank you. ![]() |
RacingFreak 2011-12-20 10:36 | Much better now ![]() You used Fraps this time, right? ![]() PS Can you please share your savegame for it? I want to check out something with the 3D models -- Last edit: 2011-12-20 10:41:20 |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-20 16:29 | Yes, was much easier to deal with annoying white lines. I tried to crop them out of the previous photos where I print screen, so if they are still there (which I hope they aren't.), I apologize. And though it may not be my save, you can find a COMPLETE save of the game at www.segagagadomain.com/vmu-save_t-z.htm (Scroll down 'till you see Vanishing Point. Don't worry about the "US" save area, I've tested and confirmed that the same save will work on any region of the game. |
RacingFreak 2011-12-20 16:38 | I told you, when it comes to making snaps from any game, always trust Fraps ![]() And thank you a lot for this site! It has a lot of savegames I have been looking for as gamefaqs didn't had them ![]() |
XThUnDeRX 2011-12-20 16:41 | I also recommend bswirl.kitsunet.org. They have over 2000 saves for 300 Dreamcast games. That's what I used to help me especially for my Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 page that I had done about a year ago. |
IanE55 2012-10-16 22:08 | Looks like MM2 a bit. |
lcpdcv 2012-10-16 22:34 | Not at all. ![]() |
Gamer 2012-10-29 10:46 | An Explorer, a Sable, a Windstar, a Taurus, a Town Car and a Ranger! I gotta get this game for my Dreamcast which I got yesterday! |
lcpdcv 2012-10-29 20:38 | For the love of God, get Super Runabout SF Edition. |
