Star Wars Fanatic 2007-07-31 22:17 | Successor to the previous Destruction Madness in the London Racer series, that fortunately fairs rather better. So has Davilex done the unthinkable and produced a worthy title at long last? Well, almost. Police Madness is basically Chase HQ without the original thrill and flair, which sees you chasing down law breakers by scanning their cars before giving chase. The twist is that you can only give chase by activating a "pursuit mode" which initiates a nitro, along with traditional sirens, which enables you to catch the fleeing car. Unlike Destruction Madness, the cars are also reasonably controllable, but the absence of a decent density of traffic hampers the experience on the morbidly quiet motorways. It is decidedly average, although for a budget title it isn't as bad as it could be. That said, this doesn't exactly feel like a London Racer - there is no racing and the locations once again deviate from London itself. Will they ever get it right? |

Ali M5 2008-03-16 14:29 | On the box shot , the vehicle on the right looks like a 1997-2003 mitsubishi galant -- Last edit: 2008-03-16 14:30:15 |
