Rejoice, the critically awful London Racer has a sequel. Unfortunately for publisher Davilex, Europe Racer also makes a hash of things just like its predocessor, only this time the PC version is just as laughable as the PS1 version. The inclusion of more locations around Europe does nothing to enhance the game, which once again contains an assortment of abysmal visuals to represent locations such as London, Paris, Rome and Athens but Davilex were a bit more generous in terms of car selection. Three categories are available, with the choice of standard cars, SUVS and sports cars but none on offer are particularly exciting thanks to some downright awful car handling. But what is particularly laughable is the crash physics displayed here - for some reason the developer saw it fit to make every collision in the PC version (there is an absence of traffic in comparison to London Racer too) cause the low texture quality traffic car to somersault through the air in a highly unrealistic fashion. Absolutely pathetic.

Europe Racer was followed by USA Racer.

If you think this is bad, you should try the PSX version. In the PSX, there's no damage! And additionally, the PSX had screenshots on the back of the cover showing peds and an additional police Hummer which would chase you if you go bananas... Worst game I've ever played. Can't believe I still got it. -_-

I share your pain SizSkiizd, I also have the PS1 version but I got it for free! I remember noticing the screenshots on the back actually which as you said were very unrepresentative of the game.

No, but it is in the intro cutscene. I also saw a BMW Z3, and a big rig. When I get an emulator up and running I can upload those seen in the intro.

VanMan629 wrote Well you know in some talent shows Simon Cowell says you've got three nos to auditions which have absolutely no talent at all? That's what I mean. :)

There was also the lesser known USA Racer - does anyone have this?

Strangely, it would appear that the cars seen in the CGI intro were lifted from London Racer, yet the majority of them do not appear playable in the game.

Few cars are missing. Since I don`t have the PC version anymore, I am allowed to put PSX screens? I remember Greek police car in Athens location.

Suprisingly, this is my 1st favorite game in PC version. And i think Davilex is a Dutch(maybe). But the worst is USA Racer, this one is better honestly.

Oh my god! This is it! The game that I had when I was like 4!

I remember a blue car that I thought looked like a toy, because it didn't have a top and it is the Caterham thing... wowza.
