I feel your pain. Had cars from Sega GT Online hidden in the files that were REMOVED with no reason given. They exist and are playable with a modified .xbe that allows them to be accessed. If you check the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII on that games' page, you can see how that car is now accessible in the main game mode of Sega GT Online.

This new update was bad, my garage Level reduced from 7 to 5 after update 🙁
Maxed DS E-TENSE could beat some cars with 3000 rank but after update, you can't beat a car with 2500 rank 👎
