Star Wars Fanatic 2007-05-12 14:56 | The latest installment of one of my favourite game franchises finds its way as a PSP exclusive title, in the form of Driver 76. In essence, this has much in common with the GTA Stories titles that also found their way onto PSP, since it is basically a watered down version of the previous Driver Parallel Lines made for PSP. Unfortunately however, unlike the GTA incarnations, we find that absolutely no effort has been put in to introduce any form of new features, resulting in a rather stale result of deja vu. Apart from the protagonist, missions and the fact you do not get the 2006 transition found in Parallel Lines, it is essentially the same in almost every way to the previous installment. The setting is once again 1970s New York, the cars have not differed whatsoever and even the soundtrack remains the same. But a crucial fact remains - this is Driver on PSP, and the developers have done a credible job of making the transition, but if you already own Parallel Lines then this will more than likely deter you into a purchase, unless you are a die hard Driver fan. -- Last edit: 2007-05-12 18:43:29 |
Star Wars Fanatic 2007-09-16 16:40 | There will be yes, but bare in mind the majority of cars are exactly the same as those found in Driver Parallel Lines. |

Star Wars Fanatic 2009-02-26 15:18 | Are there any new vehicles in 76 that were not in Parallel Lines? If not, please give them a mention. And please try to speak English more often ![]() |

takumi 2009-02-26 20:06 | j'ai envoyé le kenworth ? |
VanMan629 2009-03-14 14:27 | To me the jump to the PSP for the Driver series was quite a disappointment. Personally, I think they should have stuck with the PS2, or another option is to go to the original Xbox. |
londongamer 99 2010-11-22 20:52 | can you turn of police like in Driv3r? are there cheats for it? -- Last edit: 2010-11-22 20:53:24 |
stryder237 2011-04-24 17:55 | just driver:PL without the 2006 time period. this and drive:PL was such a wrong turn for the series. they should have kept tanner and the driver 3 like gameplay because that is one of my favourite PS2 games of all time |
Gamer 2015-01-17 10:09 | I think SWF bashed this game, it's really fun! |
Mcthieve 2015-10-29 13:48 | ¿Does anybody here knows how to unlock the andec punk, the cerrano punk, the cerva punk and the brooklyn punk? |
Racedriver43 2016-10-20 04:05 | I apologize for the long delay, but I will soon start uploading the shots for this hanging around my laptop. Ever since the PSP Wars, I've kinda' forgotten about it. ![]() |
Burn Rubber 2016-10-20 04:09 | I tried to run this game but it was really laggy, black lines kept glitch img across the screen, and it always crashed 2 minutes into the driving part of the game. ![]() |
Racedriver43 2016-10-20 04:16 | That sucks... Did the game genuinely interest you, or did you just wanna help out with PSP games? And don't worry. After I cover this page, I plan to return to DT Carnage and fix the nightmare I left behind. -- Last edit: 2016-10-20 04:16:30 |
Burn Rubber 2016-10-20 04:20 | The only PSP games I alctually liked were Underground Rivals, OutRun 2006, and Juiced Eliminator. ![]() As far as DT goes, I would have had that one done too but it was the only game that I couldn't find a save game for. ![]() |
Racedriver43 2016-10-20 04:20 | Let me rephrase my first statement. Apparently, my folder I kept on my laptop called PSP Overflow is gone... It was full of my D76 Screenshots, so if the old laptop doesn't have them, I have way more to do than homework tomorrow. ![]() |
Racedriver43 2016-12-10 21:47 | The first batch of improvement is here! ![]() |
