Jet Set Radio is the right name. It was called Jet Grind Radio in North America for copyright reasons. It's called Jet Set Radio on Steam as well. :p

Just asking... :wow:

I actually watched a YT video on it. Looks pretty boring and repetitive really.

It really isn't. The game is pretty short and isn't only about getting the best score. Later levels are really hard, and it's even got a final boss. :p

Fun game, with a good increasing difficulty, god-tier OST, best character design, is like your average Tony Hawk Pro Skater but with an actual plot instead of random objectives with over-limited time.

Nope. You have three main huge maps (plus two small makeshift extra map Sega added post release because the first Japanese batch was considered "buggy", and the final boss map) and you have a "menu" (actually the safehouse with items, similar to Driver's story mode menu)in between to access the game mode and the map. The story starts with small portions of these maps which gets bigger as you progress until you have a mission with the whole map (really hard because you have to travel fast from one point to another), you can unlock a free roam mode for each maps but there is still no other links between them than the menu.

The sequel "Jet Set Radio Future" is open world, but it was completely unnecessary imo.
