For those who don't know, Racing Lagoon is a Racing-RPG created by Square in 1999. It made you play as Sho Akasaki, a boy who lost his memory and raced for team Bay Lagoon Racing. Anyways, you have to play as him and advance through nights and get parts.

The fun thing is, if you win a race, you can pick parts from the racer, and take it from him. So for example if the rival car has a part called "Lo-Comp -2", you can pick that part, pay RP and boom. It's yours to use.
All cars here are obtained from that funny system.

Very nice game for me.

Oh, this is also my first ever game upload. Be nice. >w<

There are still some cars missing.(I don't have them in my parts list)
-Chevrolet Corvette (80's model)<---Rare as hell.
-Toyota Chaser
-Monster R33<--- Hard to catch
-Lamborghini Countach<--- Hard to catch
-VW Beetle
-Truck
-Bus

Will try to find them all ASAP (will still take time though)

Looks neat. The day Square used to be sane. Anyway, is the gameplay's like Tokyo Highway series or what?

A bit... You flash your lights to race, like TXR's but your race area will depend on where you are and you don't use SP. (if you are in area A you will race a sprint SPECIAL for area A and if you race in area B you'll drive around a circuit etcetc)

If I remember, someone said that this game has the best graphics for PSX racing game since GT2.

Awesome model and texture quality on cars!

Another fun thing about this game is about tuning, You can put pretty much anything you want on any car (i.e Flat-12 from Testarossa couple with some turbos in a Bus Body, Suzuki Wagon R AWD Chassis on a Camaro for grip in Winter stage.) and Even a bus can do 155mph with proper parts. The car bodies also change when you put chassis with different drivetrain layout, So you can have a long bonnet Mini if you use Front Engine Rear Wheel Drive Chassis. And you can put as many turbos on your engine as you like (I think up to 12 or more). I know that's nowhere near realistic, But it is indeed epic fun. Also every single car in the game can be a speedy machine. You can use the AE86 Corolla you have at the start and beat the whole game (You do need some good chassis and engine though, Like Jay Zaaad mocked up from a Toyota Chaser you found in the middle of the game). Some modification are also just downright crazy, Like a Bosozoku Style bodykit. Okay, Not that silly when you put it on normal Japanese boxes. But you can put it on a Testarossa or 964 911.

The bad point of this game though is quite serious, This game required incredible amount of patience. You can't skip the cutscene for the example and they're extremely long, also only in Japanese. And some of the missions are extremely hard, Harder when you can't understand any of the cutscene (I played this game with Cheats and Guide dang it).

BTW can someone upload full savegame of it? I would like to take a better look on these cars :)

You can't continue playing after you beat the game. If you using PS Emulator thingy you can use the cheats to unlock all cars (At least I think it does unlock all the cars), But I'm sorry I can't remember how to use them or where to get them. A bit of Google?

I can give you the save data I have right now. If you want I'll go upload it somewhere.

Not really hard for me.. If you have reached the last night or so, you can make a new data, and the new data can skip scenes. Which is very useful

Wait, as my save data for epsxe came from a friend (I finished the game 100% in my PSP), I have to ask him first if I am allowed to distribute it.

Anyway, nice funfact:
"
In fact, in Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2, you can play one of the Yokohama tracks and race against a whole team of characters based on Racing Lagoon characters. That's homage and respect."

Ohwow. I assume the guys behind this game later left Square and joined Genki with their Tokyo Xtreme series.

I absolutely adore the Intro CGI and music for this game....Sadly the player models are painfull to look at. An interesting game to say the least.

Interesting game... sounds like a mix between Pokemon and Street Legal Racing. 90% of the cars in this game look like they took the models from the first Gran Turismo. Not 100% but the models look similar.

I've seen a YouTube video showing off a few select cars and their body kits. I have a request of someone who still has this game and can get screenshots. Please get some shots of the cars and their body kits and post them to the cars' individual pages.
