Star Wars Fanatic 2006-11-26 01:01 | The second installment to the ongoing Toca series was a worthy successor to the well received original. Even if it wasn't a complete revolution, it did enhance its predecessor with significantly revamped graphics featuring new touches such as transparent windows, and my personal favourite viewable smashed windscreen seen in the dashboard view. it also added an assortment of new cars, in addition to the previous games BTCC series cars, such as Ford Fiestas and even Formula Fords, but this was not to be fully accomplished until World Touring Cars and of course the current Toca Race Driver series, which features multiple racing franchises. Please also note that I did not use replays this time (the original Toca didn't have replays), since I felt that the views on offer were not particularly good, and the controls presented at the bottom were rather obtrusive to the car. -- Last edit: 2006-11-26 01:04:18 |
