Star Wars Fanatic 2006-11-13 23:52 | Since I will soon be adding more to this game, I am starting to wonder whether these are made for game or not, as a few stand out as being based on something, to me. However I would say that the original Flatout is comprised of made for game vehicles, as the cars do look much more generic as they were all just "bangers". Does anybody agree with me on this thought? -- Last edit: 2006-11-13 23:52:29 |
Explorer4X4 2006-11-14 15:25 | I know for sure, these are not all made for games. |
carchasesfanatic 2006-11-15 14:46 | They should be identified, the Le Car is pretty clear for example... |
Explorer4X4 2006-12-31 03:44 | The Switchblade is a Ford Capri. |
2-Edge 2009-07-25 19:39 | The Terrator is Dodge viper GTS mkII. |
Robex 2009-10-09 09:31 | Chili Pepper is a Nissan March |
Mach1Mustang 2010-01-24 03:46 | This is one of the coolest games out there in my opinion. While simulators like Turismo are fun, it's so cool to take an old muscle car and ram into anything that gets in your way. I also like taking the school bus to the track in reverse and plow into the opposition. Way cool. |
R3399 2011-03-06 13:27 | Ahh I remember some years ago, I had this game for the PS2 And always raced on the loop track ... cars that were behind always crashed into others at the intersections! |
vehicleguru 2011-08-02 16:31 | I have Flatout 1&2 and the PSP version, head on, they where great games. I always used to try to destroy Jack Benton's, or Sofia Martinez's car since they annoyed me the most when racing. |
ACE the ultimatum 2011-08-02 18:35 | Ok. My favourite drivers are Jack Benton, Jason Walker and Ray Carter. -- Last edit: 2011-08-02 18:36:11 |
Mad Mike (3) 2011-08-02 19:39 | Switchblade & Speedshifter are both '68 chevelles, not '70s. Also the Bullet GT is the same car as the regular bullet, a '71 cuda/'71 challenger crossover, but with its wide bar tail lights and being more curvy like a challenger rather than angular like the 'cuda I would say both of them are '71 challengers |
Ditha57 2011-08-02 22:16 | My favorites suprisingly are Jason Walker and Frank Malcov. And I absolutely hate Sofia Martnez at all because she always pride at herself of clean racing, while I prefers derby-styled racing in a muscle car. |
ACE the ultimatum 2011-08-03 07:28 | Ok! Ray Carter is sometimes very slow and too careful so he sometimes blocks my fast drivin'. Sofia Martnez has in derby and race class very slow cars but still drives 'em damn fast! wtf |
Mad Mike (3) 2011-08-03 11:44 | Thats down to the games 'catch-up' AI. You may have noticed its almost impossible to lap any of your opponents as if you get so far ahead their speed picks up even if in reality you could never drive that car that fast. Same generally applies to if you get too far behind, they do slow down. There is some variation in this within the different car classes also depending upon the AI handicap setting (determined by which league you're racing in the career mode, all early cups in each car class have higher AI handicaps) but generally the catch-up AI will keep the other drivers close to you, unless you're driving say the Bullet GT or flatmobile on the oval track and are going so fast (>220mph or so) |
vehicleguru 2011-08-04 16:23 | Frank Malcov, and Jason Walker are my favorite AI players. Frank is very destructive but rather novice when it comes to racing. Jason Walker could be very good at every game type, if he feels like it. Same thing with Ray Carter too. |
robi 2011-08-05 22:16 | Katie Jackson is the first one that gets wrecked, and Jack Benton is the fastest ![]() |
Stirling Moss 2011-12-20 14:58 | Sofia Martinez is very fast, but she drives very weak cars until street races, when she gets that badass pickup. Anyway a dangerous opponent. Jack Benton is also very fast and gets really pissed when i hit him |
lcpdcv 2012-06-21 22:07 | Added Dodge Ramcharger prop. |
lcpdcv 2012-06-22 05:05 | *bump* |
Ditha57 2012-07-26 12:21 | Frank sometimes can have the fastest lap, and did you ever finished first with AI? Sorry if I bothering you. |
Ditha57 2012-07-26 12:22 | You forgot the Road King and Speedevil then, but I think that's fair. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-17 00:44 | Added missing '93 Crown Victoria wreck prop and '48 3100 pickup prop. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-17 07:52 | *bump*! |
lcpdcv 2012-08-17 08:11 | Added wrecked Peterbilt 359 & 1992 E-series motorhome. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-18 06:05 | Added unknown modern Freightliner-possibly a Century Class? Also added piece of construction equipment. -- Last edit: 2012-08-18 06:22:21 |
lcpdcv 2012-08-18 08:18 | Added Mack Superliner. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-19 05:40 | Added DAF 95 XF. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-25 07:22 | Added better shot for the DAF 95 XF, and added ANOTHER(!) wrecked Dodge Coronet. This one is the brown one, but it has all the panels such as doors, bumpers and the trunk, but they're all loose/hanging off. -- Last edit: 2012-08-25 07:23:21 |
lcpdcv 2012-08-26 02:08 | *bump* Another thing about that Coronet-unlike the other 2, it isn't a dynamic prop-it's static. -- Last edit: 2012-08-26 02:09:19 |
lcpdcv 2012-08-27 00:54 | OK, they got denied again, but for some reason, someone also removed ACE's shot of the completely stripped rusty Coronet wreck prop. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-27 02:08 | Someone also removed the destroyed Acura TL prop. WTF? |
Rinspeed 2012-08-27 09:45 | yes it's me. Not interesting to see 2 or 3 wrecked (or not) versions of the same car unplayable. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-27 10:09 | Yes, but they're considered different vehicles. With that logic, the Securicar in GTA IV may as well not be listed, due to the NOOSE Stockade being the same vehicle, but with a lightbar+livery. |
Rinspeed 2012-08-27 10:27 | you are wrong, this vans are playable! I had talk of unplayable cars! |
lcpdcv 2012-08-27 21:03 | Unplayable or not, they're different vehicles. |
lcpdcv 2012-08-30 08:46 | Added missing '72 Sedan DeVille dynamic prop. |
lcpdcv 2012-09-16 02:58 | Adding better shots for the G-Series van and Cadillac Fleetwood. Added, please accept. -- Last edit: 2012-09-16 03:43:09 |
lcpdcv 2012-09-16 03:29 | Also, check out my topic on Bugbear's forum, I've found lots of unused dynamic/static props. community.bugbeargames.com/index.php?topic=377 Hopefully they can be put back in. Also, added better pic for the DAF 95 XF, please accept. -- Last edit: 2012-09-16 07:15:04 |
FordMustang1967 2012-10-10 01:17 | For Pc there are downloadable cars like the General Lee And Eleanor. |
lcpdcv 2012-10-10 01:31 | Wow, welcome to the year 2006! |
Suokukko 2013-01-19 15:32 | I just found out, that they used this cover on the Japan version, and called it "Flatout 2 GTR"![]() |
fellian 2013-02-07 20:23 | Another one of my faves |
